A wonderful hotel with a homely atmosphere. Rooms were cleaned daily, as was the pool. The staff were helpful and in constant contact. Breakfasts and dinners were rescheduled for us when we needed to go sightseeing. A family atmosphere, and the surroundings are beautiful. One of the best hotels with a homely atmosphere we've ever stayed in.

The Läbensschuel from Switzerland went with 27 people and lived in Casas Fajara for a whole week. It was perfect! Breakfast was delicious and the space offered so many options to play tennis, enjoy the pool, do wonderful hikes through the serene nature full of flowers and we did three surftrips that continued to be a highlight till now. We loved to do our morning yoga in the shala that is right next to an old eucalyptus tree that fills the room with a wonderful fragrence.

Down a dusty track one kilometre from Carrapateira in the Western Algarve is situated a real gem in the world of boutique hotels. In a beautiful valley with rolling hills and brown cows with bells tinkling you will find Casa Fajara. With only nine rooms it is small and homely with tasteful bedrooms with balconies overlooking the hills and comfortable lounges. Breakfast is a veritable feast of cheeses, cooked meats, fruits and cakes, everything is so laid back, the perfect place to lounge or just as a base to explore further.

Very convenient location for walkers, adjacent to the historic trail and near the fisherman's trail. Good places to eat nearby. The hotel itself has a quiet, relaxed atmosphere and helpful staff. Tennis court, table tennis table (outside), salt pool, car parking. Good food at breakfast and sometimes dinner is available.

We booked the whole of Casa Fajara for three nights for our company's 21st Birthday - and from start to finish it was perfect. From the wonderful food - and amazing BBQ - to the accommodation to the beautiful secluded location with relatively easy access to beach and village / restaurants of Carrapateira, you couldn't ask for more. Thank you to the whole team for making us feel so welcome. 10/10.

Such welcoming staff, wonderfull breakfast and beautiful scenery. This place was a great spot to stay in on our walking holiday, walking the rota vincente. They accomodated to our every need. I would definitely recommend the place to friends or to the reader.

A beautiful hotel with large bedrooms with incredible views. The walks from the hotel are brilliant and lead to Portugal's incredible beaches where the beach bars serve fresh fish everyday. Breakfast and dinner was lovely, and even got an afternoon reading my book next to the outdoor pool enjoying the spring sunshine. Staff are great and nothing it too much trouble. Its a great spot to spend with family and friends as some can surf, some can bike, walk, play tennis or do nothing! A true gem in amongst a stunning location.

We have stayed here previously and, once again, we’re not disappointed. The rooms are a good size with a small kitchen area and dining table. Our balcony overlooked the pool and surrounding countryside. The pool is a good size for swimming. The breakfast are freshly prepared and delicious. Tiago made us feel exceptionally welcome and went out of his way to help. All the staff were very friendly.
